  • Scott Williams PT, OCS

    Scott Williams PT, OCS

    Scott earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from UC San Francisco. He has lived in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area since 1996 and in 2002 was one of the first in the Tahoe area to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. He has worked around the globe with professional cycling teams including T-Mobile, Team Columbia/High Road and most recently with Garmin/Barracuda. He has also worked as a performance therapist with EXOS/Athletes' Performance in LA and Arizona working the NFL combine, international soccer including Aston Villa in the English Premiere League as well as Al Arabai in Qatar. He also was one of the first PTs to work with the Chinese Olympic Teams in Beijing. He continues to perform physical and performance therapy, bike fitting and other athlete training services in Truckee, CA.

  • Caren Schatz PT

    Caren Schatz PT

    Caren earned her Master in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in 1997 and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego. She has lived in Truckee for over 10 years and was among the first in the Reno/Tahoe area to receive specialized certification in vestibular rehabilitation. Caren has been using manual therapy skills for 15 years to help clients resolve mobility restrictions and using neuromuscular exercises to restore stability and ideal biomechanics. Caren has an athletic background in competitive swimming and outrigger canoe racing. She also enjoys snow skiing/boarding, waterskiing, surfing, hiking, mountain biking, travel, music and dance, yummy healthy food, and old fancy cars! She also is the mother of 2 fun little children!

  • Laura Garcia PT, DPT

    Laura Garcia PT, DPT

    Laura graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from UC Irvine. In 2006 she received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. She has worked the last 13 years treating individuals of all ages for orthopedic and neurologic dysfunctions. Laura enjoys combining her fields of study to help protect and balance her clients’ bodies in order to maximize their dynamic function. She lives in Truckee with her husband and two kids. Laura loves all things outdoors, especially mountain biking, backpacking, trail running, skate skiing and snowboarding. She has completed multiple triathlons, the Lake Tahoe Marathon, RTO, and the Great Ski Race. However, Laura’s greatest passion is dance and she continues to perform all styles from ballet to hip hop.

  • Kevin Kuhns PT, DPT

    Kevin Kuhns PT, DPT

    Kevin has lived in Truckee since 1998 with a brief adventure to physical therapy school at the University of Montana where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. For the last 3 years Kevin has focused on fascial counter strain, a light manual therapy technique used to help decrease fascial tension within the body in order to help the body restore homeostasis. Kevin frequently works with people that have chronic migraines, chronic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as acute injuries and recent surgeries. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter rock climbing, skiing, going to the pump track and eating good food.

  • Amy Lyons

    Amy has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2004. She has practiced in a variety of settings including at the finish line of endurance races, 4 star resort spas, and Physical therapy offices. She tailors the session to the needs of each individual. Her style of massage has been described as methodical and having a gentle depth. She works patiently with the muscular system rather than using force to achieve full body release.

  • Taum Sayers

    Taum began his 40+ year journey with Corrective Massage shortly after moving to Squaw Valley in 1976. The foundation of this approach started in 1979 with his apprenticeship with Lauren Berry, PT and Structural Engineer. This path has seen him invited to work with the US Ski team, the SF 49ers, and many professional runners and cyclists. Taum recognizes that the body is innately programmed to self-heal naturally when soft tissue relationships are balanced. His goal is to reduce the imbalances that interfere with that uniquely amazing ability. Taum is an educator and enjoys teaching and sharing this approach as well.

  • Shannon Peacock, DC

    Shannon earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer West College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA in 2017. He currently sees patients in Reno at a variety of offices seeing patients from 10 days young to 80 years old with a wide array of conditions and needs.

    In addition to his professional training, Shannon has completed a 200hr Yoga teacher training certificate at Namaste in Truckee to incorporate yoga into his patient care. Shannon strives to serve his clients through chiropractic, soft tissue, corrective and rehabilitative exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness. He also started work on a postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation (DACRB) to better incorporate corrective exercise to complement the chiropractic adjustments. Shannon has a passion for the power of nutrition and continues to educate himself in many aspects of health to help people reach their health and wellness goals.

    When not treating patients, Shannon enjoys many outdoor activities whether motorized or self-powered, walking with his dogs, yoga, meditation, cooking and eating good food with good people.
